RECURRING EVENTS
Every Monday My Brothers Keeper Meets at 1:00 PM at the American Legion Hall
Every Wednesday there is a senior lunch at noon at the Community Center. There are no lunches during the summer months.
The American Legion sponsors a pancake breakfast the first Saturday of each month.
EVENTS FOR SEPTEMBER
On September 10th from 4:00-5:30pm, Courtyard Estates at Hawthorne in Bondurant will be celebrating their first Birthday. Please join them for fellowship and great treats as they celebrate with the residents and staff and drink a toast to a successful first year!
Also at Courtyard Estates, on September 23rd at 6:30pm, Bob Steben from the Veteran’s Affairs office will present information on various VA benefits, including the Aid and Attendance program, for those residents residing in Assisted Living or contemplating the lifestyle! Benefits can vary, however, the veteran may be eligible for upwards of $1600/month and a widow or widower may receive as much as $1000/month when living in assisted living. This benefit goes a long way to make assisted living a great and affordable option!
